Well Cap Installation
The well cap is a significantly important part of a well. A well cap plays an important role in protecting and sealing off the interior of a well from possible surface contaminants. A “sanitary” well cap, often referred to as a “vermin-proof” well cap, looks similar to a standard well cap but has bolts on the top. A properly installed vermin-proof well cap can prevent insects or other contaminants around the wellhead to enter the well and contaminate the well water. Our licensed well technicians are here there to make sure your well water in protected by the right well cap.
Well Head
Extensions
Many wellheads are buried below the surface of the ground. Well owners of buried wells are often unaware of the exact well location. Wells that are buried below the ground can have numerous disadvantages to wells that are extended above the ground. The most obvious disadvantage of a buried well is that the well is not easily accessible for servicing. Buried wells also have an elevated susceptibility to bacterial contamination. Our licensed well professionals are experienced in locating buried wells, extend the well head up to the code, and make sure the well head is sealed with the right well cap.
Pressure tanks in a well water systems fulfil several important key purposes. Pressure tanks store water and provide water under pressure when the well pump is not running. Pressure tanks build up a reserve supply of well water to relieve the well pump from starting and stopping and therefore prolonging the life of a well pump. Pressure tanks also provide a reserve supply of water for high peek consumption times. Properly sizing a pressure tank is important. Our team of well technicians work by custom designing the right size of pressure tank to fit each water treatment system and size of well pump to provide the best results possible.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
We had an issue with pressure loss and scheduled appt's with other specialists with no diagnostics/questions over the phone. After coming across the CWIS website and a 5 minute conversation with Moe, he pointed us where to look. A visit to the hardware store and 40 dollars later the issue is solved and cancelling the other specialists visits.
I wanted to thank Moe in some way, he said that he is glad it worked out as well as "Happy Holidays". His contact info has gone up beside my well pump :) And his name will go to anyone who asks if i have a contact or recommend.
Thanks again Moe and Happy Holidays
